GhostWire Studios develops Flash components using an easy-to-understand architecture that allows the skins (look and feel) and the code (logic) to be totally separated, making it really easy to modify the visual assets of the components. All components are written in Actionscript 1.0 and are compatible with both Flash MX and Flash MX 2004.


InputField
This Flash component allows you to create classic windows lookalike input fields. It comes packaged with validation Behaviors that can be dragged-n-dropped onto individual input fields to enable validation on the input.

NumericBox
This Flash component allows you to create input fields for numeric values. The input field will have a button that pops up a slider for choosing values within a specified range. This component therefore allows you to create UI controls like the ones you see in the Color Mixer panel in the Flash MX application.

Slider
This Flash component allows you to create an interface for selecting a value within a range. Four slider components each with its own skin are included in this package to demonstrate the skinning API - following these examples, you can easily create sliders that look exactly the way you want.

TabView
This Flash component allows you to create tabviews - an interface for displaying and navigating between multiple screens within the same area in an application.

TextArea
This Flash component allows you to easily create textfields with scrollbars attached. In addition, the component allows you to load an external text file and populate the textfield automatically with the file's contents, without writing a single line of code.
