Tabbed forms seems to be an overlooked advantage in the Flash world. Creating tabbed forms allows you to consolidate related or unrelated properties. This enables you to put your compiled settings or options of choice into one tab.
ZTabs's approach to creating tabbed forms is rather simple...by taking advantage of Macromedia Flash's timeline. With this approach, Flash designers can now easily design and develop tabbed applications quickly and easily without visualizing the outcome through code. Flash designers can easily map out positions by visually applying them on stage and utilizing ZTabs's accurate component preview presentation as a guide.
With ZTabs's tab handler property, a function can be called and or pass an argument. Each tab handler has a listener that determines the type of action needed to execute once the tab is opened.
Coders can take advantage of ZTabs, by adding tabs, removing tabs, assigning handlers, modifying styles, etc. during runtime. An event listener, open, is also dispatched once a tab is opened to further execute a much more complex code.
