GhostWire Studios develops Flash components using an easy-to-understand architecture that allows the skins (look and feel) and the code (logic) to be totally separated, making it really easy to modify the visual assets of the components. All components are written in Actionscript 1.0 and are compatible with both Flash MX and Flash MX 2004.
ContextMenu
This Flash component is a derivative of the GhostWire Menu (included in this set) and allows you to create "simulated" context menus in your applications. It provides an alternative solution to the traditional "right-click" context menu (in Flash applications, right-clicking brings up the Flash player's menu). With the GhostWire ContextMenu, you can allow users of your application to trigger a customized context menu by "long-pressing" (clicking on a spot and holding for a predefined time), or clicking on a spot with the ALT key held down at the same time.
Menu
This Flash component allows you to create pulldown and vertical menus of various styles. The default skin closely resembles that of the menus in Windows operating systems, and allows a variety of color settings. A "XP" style skin is also included to demonstrate the component's ability to use an alternative background for the menus. |
