Flash Panorama VR Pro is a panorama viewer component designed especially for Flash MX 2004 and Flash 8. Using this Flash component you can include cylindrical panorama images in your websites easy and fast.
It is very easy to create a cylindrical panorama with almost any camera. Just mount the camera on a tripod and start taking shoots while rotating clockwise. With 15 to 50 frames you should be able to get a very good panoramic image. Just use one of those 'Photo Stitching' applications. I personally used Canon Photostitch the one that came up with the camera. There are also some cameras that do 'on site' panoramas. No matter how you done it, it's not a hard job to make the panorama... it's harder to publish it.
While there are a lot of applications doing a very good immersive effect for cylindrical panorama images, we thought that a good flash panorama viewer component will be far more easy to use and more reliable because as you may know, flash is the widest platform used on computers and devices of all kind. |
